  • Financial Metrics by Health Plan - A full breakout by plan of all revenues associated with your pool. Available by practice for an additional fee.
  • Inclusions Analysis - A breakout of incidence rates of specified inclusion criteria. Useful for fine-tuning protocol criteria to maximize patient counts and enrollment rates while maintaining rigid specifications as regards IRB and FDA approvals. Also useful in minimizing protocol amendment frequencies.
  • Exclusions Analysis - Similar to the Inclusion Analysis report; rates for all exclusion criteria.
  • Patients by Health Plan - Total patient counts by all plans represented in your pool.
  • Patients by Financial Outlay (paid, plan paid, etc) - A breakout of the top 1000 patients in your pool by total financial outlay.
  • Patient Isometry Divergence Analysis (pool incidence rates compared to iTrials Universe™ overall rates) - This report details incidence rates of all ICD9/10 codes within your pool and compares these rates with the overall rates of the same codes throughout the iTrials Data universe™. In addition to the codes associated with the trial inclusion criteria, other statistically relevant divergences are identified.
Physician Analysis (Basic) Metrics on Provider locations and practice load, and specialties breakout analyses.
  • Physicians by Patient Counts (Totals, weighted scores, etc) - A good starting place to begin your search for qualified investigators! This report provides a list of the physicians in your pool with the greatest number of qualified patients.
  • Physician Specialties Breakout - A simple listing of specialties by count in your pool.
Physician Analysis (Advanced I) A deeper view of Provider data, including physician and practice revenue metrics and in-pool referral patterns.
  • Referral Networks (in Pool) - A detailed analysis of the referral patterns represented in your pool. An associated RFu report detailing the referral patterns into and out of your pool based on an analysis of the entire iTrials Data Universe is available for an additional fee.
  • Physician Specialties Breakout - A simple listing of specialties by count in your pool.
  • Physician Financial Metrics - Financial breakouts by diagnoses and per patient for the top 100 physicians in the pool.
Physician Analysis (Advanced II) Deep referral analysis (across more than 1.5 million referring providers nationwide), and GIS/location analysis by practice of eligible patients within defined radii to each practice.
  • Referral Networks (All Physicians) - A detailed analysis of the referral patterns represented in your pool as well as the referral trends to and from physicians outside the pool.
  • Practice Proximity Radii Analysis - This report provides a per-practice breakout of the total number of patients within predefined distances; use to assess potential enrollment during clinical trials, as a metric for identifying potential trial sites, etc. The basic report includes the top 10 practices based on total pool members within the maximum distance. A visual map with the practice and all patients within the maximal proximity is also available for an additional fee. The inclusion of additional practices beyond the initial 10 is also available for an additional fee.
Facilities Metrics (Basic) Patients and financials by Plan for each facility in your pool, as well as revenues by constituent practices and other facility efficacy indicators.
  • Patient Totals by Plan - A simple breakout of all of the plans represented in your pool by total number of patients.
  • Financial Metrics by Health Plan - A full breakout by plan of all revenues associated with your pool. Available by practice for an additional fee.
  • Financial Metrics by Constituent Practices - Full breakout of revenues by all practices in the pool.
  • ER return visits - This is a simple analysis of the total number of patients by practice who return to the Emergency Room within the defined time period. Additional analysis, such as diagnosis and procedures performed upon return, proximity to the facility, etc. are available for an additional fee.
GIS Analysis (Basic) Visualization solutions depicting the locations of patients, facilities, practices and providers nationwide.
  • Nationwide Patient Point and Heat Map - Similar to the GEO_NW1 map, this map also includes heat-map style areas indicating patient data densities. Other heat maps indicating density of practices, facilities or other factors are also available for an additional fee.
  • Nationwide Patient, Practice and Facilities Map - This report includes a full map of the United States with each practice, facility and patient in your pool plotted by zipcode or Lat/Lon coordinates. Includes associated metrics on totals and data point density.
GIS Analysis (Advanced I) Visualization solutions depicting local and regional eligible populations surrounding defined trial sites, and advanced identification of clusters and superclusters of eligible patients across the nation.
  • Trial Site Proximity Maps (Site with Patients, Physicians and Facilities)* - For each site (or proposed site) in your study, a map with predefined radii denote patient density and practice proximity. A valuable indicator of future site efficacy. 10 maps are included in the basic report. Additional practices/sites are available for an additional fee.
  • Patient Cluster and Supercluster Analysis** - This is an advanced analysis designed to identify statistical clusters and superclusters of patients nationwide based on your pool criteria. The ultimate tool in strategic, data-driven site identification, the PCSC report gives you statistically sound metrics for trial site location and identification at a glance. Includes associated metrics. Data-driven site identification based on PCSC analysis is available for an additional fee.
Clinical Trials (Basic) Trial-specific analysis, designed to enhance enrollment and retention by finding concentrations of patients in practices and qualified, experienced investigators.
  • High Density Practices - This report provides a list of the most likely practices to begin your site provisioning process. Based on total number of eligible patients within each practice as well as other external factors such as eligible patients within defined proximities, media market locale, proximity to required facilities, etc., the SI report is your first best starting place to bring new sites online, on time and under budget. The SI report in conjunction with the PCSC report is available for an additional fee.
  • Site Efficacy Analysis - Based on eligible patients within the site/practice as well as eligible patients within defined proximity to the site, referral patters and other metrics, the SEA analysis provides accurate predictive metrics on projected enrollment rates, dropout rates, and subject capacity. The SEA report can save millions in lost revenues associated with underperforming trial sites if used before final site selections are completed!
  • Trial Feasibility Assessment - This analysis combines metrics from several other reports, including patient distribution and site proximity, eligible patient density per practice and others in order to provide an accurate assessment of clinical trial enrollment and success. Metrics may be adjusted and this report re-run, but processing and data overhead considerations require an additional charge for subsequent runs beyond the initial report generation.
  • Find Investigators - Identifies all of the investigators in the current data pool by study participation history and FDA registration/review.
Clinical Trials (Advanced I) Tools for top-level trial management and intelligence, including enrollment extrapolations and protocol tuning.
  • Trial Enrollment Extrapolation - A subset of the TFA report, the Trial Enrollment Extrapolation provides a statistically accurate data-driven estimate of the enrollment rates of the specified trial sites. Initial report includes up to 10 trial sites. Additional sites may be added for a small fee.
  • Data-Driven Protocol Tuning - This report is designed to help your trial walk that fine line between FDA and IRB approval and maximum enrollment potential. Simply adjust trial inclusion and exclusion criteria, and run the report for top-level enrollment numbers – repeat as needed until you zero in on just the right protocol inclusion criteria that will satisfy the FDA and other interests as far as sufficiently rigid enrollment criteria while assuring that your sites will randomize enough patients to make your study a success. Best when used in conjunction with the SI and SEA analytic instruments above.
